Montgomery Gentry hates bears
Country superduo Montgomery Gentry has had many hits over the years and is known for its hometown grit and down to earth ruggedness. However, accusations against one of its members could dash that reputation.
Troy Gentry, the youthful tenor behind Eddie Montgomery's rough bass, has been indicted for allegedly purchasing a tame bear, then killing it with a bow and arrow while it was confined in a cage. It's then alleged that he, along with a wildlife guide, tagged the near as wild and doctored video evidence of the slaughter to make it look as though it was killed in a legal hunt.
If proven true, not only is this twisted, it's repulsive. It would give Montgomery Gentry something in common with a certain Guernsey County lowlife.
I think they should put Troy on that show on CMT where Hank Williams Jr. takes stars into the great outdoors. Then Hank could just get drunk and shoot him. Dick Cheney style.
